RR Hermit Report

As some of you know I moved to The RR a little over a month ago and it's pretty nice I keep a kayak in the water and can get home and be fishing in 5 min. The wife and I have been pretty busy with a new job working on the place moving both our kids buying cars,vacation and just enjoying River Life should have done this a long time ago. Anyway Mick and I have been fishing the River almost eveyday and the fishing has been good but the small fish have been so aggressive that I haven't caught many bigger fish all that changed the last two days and the bigger fish have been on the prowl got a few yesterday and Today was a great day fished for 3 hours and caught 20 fish over 15" paddling back met up with two topless kayakers  that wanted to pet Mick sometimes that dog is worth all the kibble  too much fun. Caught one fish that already had a hook in his gut he must have been hungry. The next few weeks should be good if you like fishing Smallies.

Nice Mike, Glad your enjoying your place in Healdsburg,  the location is perfect.  When is the Fishing/Camping trip on the property.  Did you let the wife know we are coming

Setting in to the pace of life there and enjoying it. WTG. Have you tried fly fishing for those Smallies? I'll bet that be fun until the big guys come up the river from the sea.
