You can pull the yak over the sandy beach using a rope.  Run the rope thru a pool noodle and put it over your shoulder to make the task a piece of cake  :smt001

you guys tell me! im the greenhorn here naturally im gonna make things harder then it really is

im rockin the x factor though its not hella heavy but its kinda bulky n akward, then again i dont know how far of a walk the beach is from parking..i might just go scoutin tomorrow to peep the scene, plus im gonna stop somewhere and pick up some rockfish gear , places around here cater more to bass , stripers and sturgeon , not to much ocean shit , unless the fish gods give me the signs and want me to go fishing

Pulling your yak about 150ft over the sandy beach is the second stage.  The first stage is getting your yak down a small hill with wooden stairs (more like steps) along the trail and carefully avoid the poison oak.  It's best to ask someone helping carry the yak down this trail.
