Spent a week and a half south of the Cali border on the mystery phish tour in search of big ghosties (corbina) and yt (el jurels) and SCORED big time. Got back a little under a week ago and have been waiting for my buddy to send me some pics. Finally got a few, and will post more as they come up...  ... Don't know if its karma or what, but I did better then the $600 charter boats on the days we fished... Caught my biggest fish from the kayak yet-somewhere around 55 lbs on 25 lb test!!... Fight lasted about 20 minutes and got towed 200-300 ft or so... This one was caught on a live sardine and weighed around 32lbs... the second weighed between 50 and 55 based on weight length allometry... I'll post a detailed report soon but here's this for now...
