Just curious who will be representing NCKA at the tourney on Saturday. And, well, that other thread was waay too long to wade through.
I'll be there with my friend Paul, who will pay the fee this year...after not-entering last year and catching the biggest fish of the day D'OH!
So, who else gonna be there?  :smt006

According to NOAA's experimental forecast model, the swell is going to be pretty big. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=36.68824378744832&lon=-121.88232421875&site=mtr&smap=1&marine=1&unit=0&lg=en

Saturday:  W wind 6 to 11 kt. Patchy fog before 11am. NW swell 8 feet. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.

looking like big swells at davenport too. weird and i hope it lays down.

If the swell is that big @ MBK the surf launch will prob be around two foot high! Which is obviously nothing. Monster Guppy and myself will be there representing the Monterey County crew!

Hmmm... might have to dust off the ol' girl and upgrade to a shiny, new ocean trident. Been looking for a good reason to drink beer for breakfast anyway. And with a 'mighty' swell coming in and shutting down the reef dwellers, me thinks my surfperch will be gold! Yah, I said it.
