My condolences, Troy. Nobody wants to get that call.
Let me know if you need to hit the salt to take your mind off it.

Very sorry for your loss, Troy.

I work for Medtronic CardioVascular, on an R&D team designing the next generation of stent grafts to treat Abdominal Aortic Aneurisms. If there can be some good gained from this let it be to remind us that, as we get older, we take care of ourselves and get checked for these sort of things.

The majority of people who have AAA do not know it, as there are very few warning signs, but it is a simple, painless procedure used to detect them.

Once again - sorry for your loss, Troy. Your story will help motivate me and the team I work on and keep us focused on why we do what we do here.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Troy,

Our deepest condolences for the loss of your Dad. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

My Dad passed at the very young age of 60 due to a massive heart attack. I was his fishing buddy growing up, and the memories of trolling the northern lakes of New Jersey with him are with me forever.

Rich and family in Ben Lomond.

My condolences to you Troy.  I was working at a customer site and received the call from my younger brother about my father's death 3 years ago and I still remember that moment to this day so I know how you feel.  I'm sorry for your loss and we'll pray for you.

It's rough but time slowly heals.  My mother-in-law died on my birthday a few years ago.

Thanks all.  I still can't believe he's gone.  Yes he was my outdoor everything mentor.  I will always have great memories of us fishing, him teaching me about the mepps spinners and how to use them in tiny streams, how to pan for gold, camping, gun safety, bowhunting, (Archery at age 4) he is directly responsible for my love of the outdoors.
My pain is not over yet however, sometime next week, I get to go collect all his fishing gear new & old, and whatever else I would like. :smt009

Again, thank you all for the warm thoughts & prayers.

Troy

I totally know how you feel. Kastmasters are real special to me. My pops was convinced that was the best all around lure.
