We all get lucky from time to time....but sustainable, consistant luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

We all ooh and ahh at Adams results but few are jealous of the long and sometimes difficult effort it took to get this way. Endless hours at sea alone in the sun.

Once a reporter asked Arnold Swartzenegger [ in his prime] what he could do to become like him.
Arnold said..."You can't"
"What do you mean I can't?"  said the reporter indignantly.
Then Arnold says..."You cant because you are not willing to pay the dues." 

Adam has paid the dues.

I've read this post twice and both times while reading this sentence I can't help but think of the scene in 'Pulp Fiction' where Jules is in the restaurant with the two robbers.  Something like this:

Adam: Nobody's gonna hurt anybody. We're gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what's Fonzie like? Come on fish what's Fonzie like?
fish: Cool?
Adam: What?
fish: He's cool.
Adam: That's right...

The stars have certainly been lined up for you this year Adam. Your going to have to start using stronger line to handle all these big moes...

ohhhh man, if you guys could see me with swelled-up eyes, trying to be tough at work by not breaking out in an all out ball session. This started out as just a fun thing to do, but you guys are turning it into some serious stuff and it's hitting my hard&staight to my heart.........I tried to read a couple of quotes from here to a coworker and could barely finish the sentance w/o emotions dripping down my cheek..........too much you guys!!
