launched the yaks into the wind, three or so other boats working the cove, all boating fish on live 'dines. We had none...Craig (ravensblack) mooched one off a guy in an aluminum (thanks!), and hooked up, but dropped it. I finally got fed up enough to try trolling (three way) a rainbow trout rapala, instead of my usual swim bait rig...immediately got a 19#, followed shortly by a 8-10#er. That was it for us, off the water by noon thirty.
big fish taped out at 34 1/2" and 19#s on the scale at home.

I'll never doubt craig's estimates again- he said 34, while looking at the thing hang over the hawg trough.  Pics in a little bit

Just got back from Horesehoe and I am smoked. Here's some pics from Sarurdat with Steve-o. Got my ass spanked proper by the boy. I did lose 1 fish Iam thinking shark now the way it broke off and had a big hit. Butt it didnt stick. The sardines I bummed form the nice PBer were at least 8-9inches long. I didnt have a stinger so that was that. :smt010 Heres the Pber's fish too.

on the bottom ( i think both were in about 20-30 feet)...using a standard halibut trolling set-up (search for it), but the "baby salmon" rapala instead of a hoochie or an anchovy, and no flasher
