From up here in the north part to you guys in the south part, it just goes to show that we will do anything to have some fun and fish. No sitting around on the couch gettin' fat. It looks like you all had a great day. Sin, where in hell can we all get togther for a challenge? I know some places up here. Great post!

We ended up going to this spot because it's remote enough to stoke dreams of big fish, minus the 2hr drive deep into the Sur. So believe it or not, this trip was actually born out of convenience.

You know Craig....I was actually following the Horseshoe Challenge hookup thread at first....dreaming of making the trek up there from Monterey. Even went onto Google maps to figure out where the place is located and how long it would take to get there (4+hrs). But I could only get a permission slip for Saturday and that type of adventure sounds like a 2-dayer for me.
I'd really like to get up there soon, so I can catch a few rockies AND pop some abs! That window seems to be closing rather quickly. Seems like the RF seasons up there are closing real soon. Compared to the Monterey region, which is open until Nov 15. Oh, and there's going to be a kayak fishing event in Big Sur on Sept 25-27, which you're welcome to join!

I loved the pic 1370 from porky of andy/FM1 looking up the cliff, must've been saying go a head I'm a raider fan, I will catch u!!! go ahead jump, no problems its a soft landing!!! I'm all raider too, I've yet to get a tatoo... but I would not go as far as FM1 that Tatoo on your chest is "Raider Nation" for sure Andy!!! If I did it would be "NCKA" and right under it the raider pirate flag for sure...

Yet another killer hookup I've missed this year...damit...nxt yr look out...but to u guys that are getting all that time OTW Congrats...
