I was bored today so I decided to build a few crawdad traps.  I was wondering if anyone had  done any crawdad fishing around Sacramento?  I guess they are pretty much everywhere in the river but I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas where to go.  Somewhere I could set out some traps and then go bass or catfishing would be perfect.  I have only been around Sacramento for a few months and not sure where everything is.  I was going to head for Consumnes but I hear I need a kayak cart to launch there.  I have not built one yet.  Thanks for any ideas in advance.
