went on a solo mission hunting for halis at the RW , things were slow on the hali front but my anchovie got nailed by a hard fighting sevengill which ended up being my first actual hookup that put my angling skills to the test aboard a kayak!

my photos aint the best but remember im pretty new at this stuff plus this camera aint waterproof and aint mine so i played it safe , the shark snapped the mono leader at the side of the boat as i treid taking the hook out but looked to be about 4 feet long

Great report and pics,

Sevengills, they have a mouth full of razor sharp teeth not like a leopard at all,,,,

Good looking fish aren't they.

Nice report. A self-releasing sevengill at the side of the boat is ideal!
