You will loose a leg for sure
Live today for tomorrow's sake.
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

  Did anyone see the PBS nature programming ( or maybe it was Discovery Channel?)several years ago, of a gws being eaten by an orca up by Ano Nuevo .
     Wow, I mean the guy got in the water and  filmed this. An Orca took out a 17' gws like it was a dog's chew toy , ate the liver , and was on it's way like it was nothing.
  Rough neighborhood.

People, To put into perspective some of the notions we have spoken of;
 They may see us or be aware of us.....but we no see them?
 Probably an empiracle fact.
Regard the video below.
Just substitute the surfers....for us in our kayaks and get the picture.
[This may also mean they are more harmless then many thought . I mean, they see us and decide n..."I'll pass"... almost all the time!]

That Malibu clip was great.

I used to surf and spearfish right there in college, well not out that far.  A thing that I learned very early is in a healthy marine ecosystem sharks are always there...
