Got another invitation I could not turn down :smt045

Went back to DL Bliss but this time Fred, Family and friends got an awesome group campsite and we had the place all to our selves....we had our own quarter-operated hot showers and flushable toilets - which were cleaned every day  :smt007 Lot's of trees for shade and plenty of room for tents and car parking.

Got to see Brad / Zilla and Randall / Big Foot....whom I have not seen since the last of the legendary Elk Tournaments.

Fishing was slow - Fred was able to convince one mackinaw to bite. I trolled a count down rapala half way to Emerald Bay (hugging the shoreline) hoping for a bow or even a Brown to bite but there was no takers. But the scenery was simply amazing and the solitude was overwhelming.......until the water skiers and the jet skis started showing in numbers  :smt011

*the pic in da bottom is Zilla on his boat slow trolling on the point - note the birds nest on the upper left...

I hear ya brother  :smt045

...so I demod the Peekaboo and found it to be very stable, pretty slow but it tracked pretty good for it's length (note the keel extending way beyond the Stearn on the previous pic)

Took some photos thru the "viewing hole"....

* crawdad in about 5 FOW

* minnow trap in about 15 to 20 FOW

*Fred taking the kids out to check out the minnow / crawdad traps (unfortunately, 2 of our traps went missing and Fred caught a lady and her son messing with one of our traps :smt011 - I suspect the resident PETA PATROL)

*Brad / Zilla looking for da fish  :smt102
