picked up a couple of live shiners from Keith and managed to launch about 4:30 or 5...
Wind was howling through the gap by the old pilings, and sheep were out in force outside.
Went south of the pier (as there were 2 or 3 other yaks N), and drifted the edge of the ridge there... moved to the deeper water of the cove further S (the one with the big new house). Started a slow "troll" against the wind and with the current back N, had a perfect tap tap tap and a load up-- that i totally botched. Forgot i wasn't using circle hooks and just reeled fast, so loaded up, and pop- fish off.
Pissed i rebaited and resumed...
Loaded up, 15 count, and fish on. easy net job, and back home by 6:30, on the grill by 7:15.

keep it up cameron-- this weeks tides are perfect...not much change, nice green water-- you'll get one, then the flood gates will open and you'll be giving away halibut
