Well as most if not all of you know I have spent the past two years working on Game On 1&2 our kayak fishing Movies. While having a great time fishing in so many awesome locations, it has meant less time.  on my local water. When not fishing with clients or shooting video I have spent most of my time working on these projects. Lots of time goes into the production not only in the shooting and editing but also in working with advertisers and trying to get sponsors. A lot of time has also been spent promoting the movies and the brand.
Well we are SUPER EXCITED that the hard work has paid off and we are ready to announce that starting January 2010 we will be airing our adventures on our own show.
The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons will begin airing in January on WFN (world fishing network). At this time it is only available in California via Dish Network. Though it is available in the rest of the nation. We would of course love it to make it onto Cox or other cable carriers in CA so if you would like to see it please contact you cable carrier and let them know you want WFN..
You can see the official Press release with more information on the Game On blog.

Thanks everyone for all your support over the years. I hope you all have a chance to see the show and enjoy it.
Thanks to my awesome wife Allene for sticking with me through this long process.

Congratulations Jim,

I'm glad our sport has grown enough to support such a venture! You would definitely be a great spokesman! Hope to catch it someday.

Super great news, Jim, a hearty congratulations on the hard work making it happen! - Thinking of those folks who don't get the channel (myself included of course . . :smt001) I was wondering if there is any chance they episodes may be podcasted?? Just a thought - I am sure it would help boost viewership, maybe delayed by a week as to not water down the initialing airing - just thinking aloud so to speak . . .

Thanks for the kind words of support guys.
As far as podcasting goes, I honestly have no idea.
I know that you can watch episodes of some of the other WFN shows on their web site so this may be an option for us.
