Trolled with some of the crew sat, and then some more on sun.  Weather was nice sat., WINDY sun. AM.  Absolutely nada.

I am booked the next two weeks (intensive sea kayaking symposium at Bodega Bay and then fly fishing club annual outing to Eagle Lake) but how is November there? Does the lake need to turn over? I am puzzled--don't the Striped Bass need to 'fatten up' for the Winter? Any idea if and when the 'bite' turns on? They simply *have* to crash bait and soon to get ready for Winter.

Mooch,

Go fish Mendo and give me a call Saturday night and let me know how it goes.   :smt002

I'll be in Caz this weekend, so if you bail on Mendo, I might think about Fort Ross if swell comes down.  Else Lake Sonoma.  Or ... are the smallies still on the chew in the Russian?

Allen - I'm bailing on Mendo - sorry! Going to Monterey instead. Good luck at Fort Ross!

By the way, you can borrow my scupper pro (named: Old Blue) anytime you're in town. I already have a high back seat and a FF ready for use. All you need to bring is your paddle and some garlic fried rice to cover the rental fee  :smt002
