Hit LM with Relentless. Overcast skies, chilly, slight windy for the first 2 hours, tons of bait, & very fishy conditions.

Big swells past the point. Wind died down after 8am, made for a great day on the water. No show on stripers & ghost. Lots of lings, brown, & black rf's for me. Kept 2 lings 26" & 29-3/4", kept a 4lb brown rf, & released lots of blacks/browns/2 cabs.

Carolina rig set up with 3oz weight & 36" leader. Lings hit on big smelt/macks/dines.

Off the water by 3pm. Met "blueyak" in the parking, nice meeting you dude.

Way to go Ariel,  Good to hear the bait is still around, may give it a try on Sunday.

Top fishing there, Ariel. Very nice looking lings, looks like a productive day OTW. Glad to hear the wind settled and allowed you some quality time out there.

Better go get that smallmouth before they go into hibernation. :smt005 No Ariel, they dont live in salt water. :smt006 Nice fish. I got one question though. How come all your fish look small when you hold them? :smt044

I'm always amazed at how productive Linda mar is. With all the small boats in the cove and the party boats and the power boats and us that place gets hammered but it produces a ton of fish.

Great job on the mixed bag. I love those brownies they are a very tasty fish.

Thanks for the report Ariel!

10 years ago, Linda Mar was a gem, now it's just a midden, with the occasional treasure if you sift through enough crap. I would catch LOADS of cabs and greenlings and lings, and the usual rockfish...

I haven't caught a good fish there in years, but it's good to see there are still some around.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...
