Nice work! Simple but effective! That's a nice little adapter, if you didn't say you made it, i would've figured you bought it! Nice work, real nice work. I like the power supply too. You plan on taking this out while your uncle isn't around?  :smt007

Dang! If i had a hobie i would honestly let you borrow the drive or the whole yak but i don't have one  :smt010 Some day though! It would work out perfectly if you still live in Livermore beings i live in Dublin! Don't worry! I'm saving my pennies and working for it!

Try adjusting the harnesses on the seat so you won't have to lean back.

picked it up from james on wednesday

used cutting board material to create a mount and threaded a 1/4" bolt through the cutting board to fit to the base.

working on the rest of the install but it worked great james. fit just right into my sail mast.

yeah, see you sunday.

i still need to figure out how to run the wires through my front hatch. the hobie sport's front hatch is a twist n stow so its not the same as on the revo and adventure.  i might just run it through and put some tape to keep it shut..i dont want to squeeze the wires and i'm not as worried about dunking in freshwater as i would in salt. i will eventually run them through a wire seal but i dont have time for that now.

For a solid back rest that you can really put your weight into, especially when peddling into the wind, get some 3/4" pvc and make a rectangle back support.  I plug the support into my scuppers as far as they will go without catching any drag.  If anyone wants pics  I can take  it down and show exactly how I did it, but as you can see it is real simple: 6ft pvc, connectors and elbow joints, along with some cement.  The top of one of the supports (there are two in the photo) has a receiver hole that holds my net or small sabinki rig.  The other smaller support is my spare which I haven't used this season but did use last season.  Lastly I took an outdoor hammock pillow, wrapped  it with a bungie, voila--I'm ghetto and free of back pain.  The stock back rest should be adjusted to fit right up to the additional support brace--not in photo.  Sorry for the jack
