Supervisor gave me the day off last minute... so went fishing. Luckily Loch Lomond was still open and had bait.
Got there late and in the water around 4pmish?. Looked like small white caps from Loch Lomond, but when I got to Paradise conditions were awesome.  Nice water and just a gentle breeze every now and then. Wind picked up slightly around closing time.
All in all, got one short but got a nice fiesty 29''er on the last run before heading in. Outgoing current was pretty strong so had to hightail it on the way back in before closing. Was a nice day to be out.. wish i could've stayed longer.

Good job on the hali. Great size one at that. It's always nice fishing past 4pm and into the evening.

Congrats on the nice butt.  Glad to hear that the wind laid down a bit for you in the afternoon.

The winds are sure hard to figure out there. Never know what it's going to deal ya. What time do they close the park? I've never been there late enough to worry about it. Nice hail mary...

Good catch.  You're a trooper for going out even at the last hours of the day and getting rewarded a nice butt. :smt003

I always net my fish head first.  You're right about the slippery hazard at the launch, those rocks/steps at the end of the ramp are very slippery!
