Had an awesome weekend, spent Sunday at the MotoGP races at Laguna Seca, we were in a sponsors booth (Parts unlimited) right on turn 5. It was sweet, covered seats and tables catered lunch, flat screen tvs to watch the race when the bikes were elsewhere on the track, lots of free giveaways. Nichole and I got the entire MotoGP package for FREE! We didnt spend one penny there. Here is a Youtube video of the race I made. Quality is crappy, sorry

As for fishing, we got on the water around noon to high winds, big chop, and decent swells. We decided to stick close to shore and play around in the kelp. We caught fish but we called it a day after about 2 hours. We kept our stomach contents down but we were still very queezy. I started the day off with 2 small gophers, a small brown and a small blue, Nichole was having a hard time finding the fish but she caught a blue then we decided to call it a day. i didn't get a lot of pics and video because I had to be conscious of the huge rollers that kept coming at us so i didnt end up in the water. We also saw that crazy Falcon underwater sub thing. They played around in the harbor for a bit and came in.

I used to hit all the Grand prix races at Laguna Seca, what a great raceway!!!! Kenny Roberts used to bring in his race team to my pizza parlor for lunch. Congrats on those MotoGP tickets, there is know way u can beat free, especially for those sweeeet seats. Way to combine your races with some fishing!!!! Congrats on your fish and a great weekend!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see you getting salty Jeff.  I gave a war wound to your old ride, it flew off my truck.  I can fix it, it is only two holes and a dent.  We will be fishing in Paradise for butts on Sunday, my GF and I.  There are no swells like that, but the wind usually blows us off around noon.  Easy paddling, and the fishing is good, we have them dialed in pretty good.  Let me know if you want to hook up-the girls can be girly, and we can brave the wind for one last drift when it picks up.

way to go, Jeff!   As always, enjoy your visuals, although i am more used to seeing big stripers on your shots.   But variety is the spice of life.

hey, PatR -  see you on Saturday at class.
