Every time I've tried to fish that place from shore there's always been a huge shore break. Launching and landing would be super sketchy unless you hit it on a really calm day.

You are right Dustin it has to be a calm day. The murky water there doesnt come from the river. It comes from the clay content in the shoreline. Thus when its windy and the land is getting hammered the clay leaches out into the water. In the fall it will be calm enough to do it.
