NCKA connects at the Cove - 7/4/09

Cabs are one of the best eating fish available, and they're really cool too.  Softest pectoral fins around - I like to fondle them.   

That reminded me of a fishing show I used to watch.  This guy kissed all the fish he caught before released them    Hope you and him never catch an electric ray 

I finally got a chance to upload some more pics and a video. And who doesn't like pics?  

Launching my dad's boat with the Hitch Extender. It lets us launch off the beach without getting the truck in the salt. Because saltwater kills everything, including trucks (like the truck that got stuck by Deadmans reef and crushed by the surf on Sat!). It also means we don't have to pay $40 for the tractor launch.



The fishing from the boat was good. Not great but we got a few lings, cabs, etc. We also soaked 3 pots for a few crabs.


I got a big rock sole.

Thanks for posting the pics and video, Sin.  That was a great morning - 'cept for the guy with the swamped truck!     I think Domenic told me they got it out of there by Sunday afternoon.  Somehow, oddly enough, that's one more reason to have a kayak!

So awesome guys! Nice report and with pictures and VIDEO! Dang, you guys are living it up. So can i sleep in your guys trucks and fish with you all the time?! I'll do yard work in the week that way the weekends are free, it'll be like your own personal car security system! Please!
