Went out today and conditions were perfect, no wind untill about noon. Lots of boats on the water fishing, not many hookups seen. Had one take down, but it came off before I could grab the pole. Inspected the bait (live shiner) and it had puncture/slice marks on both sides of it, but not where the hooks were embeded, maybe next time. Work that spot a few more times, but nothing else would bite. Got the bite as I was the bait was climbing out a hole from 34ft to 20 ft depth, incline. Im definately getting closer.

cheers

Geoff
