Great report Mooch.  As I recently found out from my 30 year old kids, these are the things that they always remember and it get you into the "Good Dad Club".

That right handed crawdad had the biggest claw I have ever seen.

...karma paid me a visit later that night when this BIG bear came 20 feet off my manvan......it was sniffing Stu's trailer  :smt104 :smt119 MY VERY FIRST BEAR ENCOUNTER  :metal

The biggest black bear I've ever seen.  :smt002

Awesome report--love the photojournalistic style!  :smt007  Not that it really matters, but did you catch any fish? Personally, I've never had any success at Tahoe, but have never really cared either.

I didn't and I didn't even try but Fred caught a few....still waiting for him to chime in with pics and some details. I've done pretty good with rainbows and macs on the North side of tahoe.

Dang.  Those pictures bring back some great memories.  I was really hoping to make it this year, this time with both girls.

Bear:  if you guys can see the tires on the trailer, then follow them to the left and you can make out the bear's legs.
