Montona de Oro ON THE 4TH

Gonna probly do an early fishing trip out at Montona de Oro have yet to fish there even after being 5mins from it. Company welcome.

 Is there an easy way to get to that spot?

If my other plans don't work out I'll meet you down there - are we talking sunrise early?  that's fine with me - i'll drive in from north slo county - let me know where/when ... JK

Head out of the cove and go south. Lots of action in and past the big bull kelpbeds. Head out to deeper water in front of the cove for some good ling & verm action. Have an aweseom time dude

Where is it you ask?

Search out Montana De Oro state park, nice campground, good launch, some bumpy water out aways depending on weather.

How is the launch?  I hear there is a long drag across the sand down to the beach.

It is not that bad of a drag.
