My airbrush came!  I can't wait to try it out. I bought an airtools PS900 brush with 2mm and 3mm needles and tips.  I hope to take my lures to the next level with this.

I got some nice createx paint colors to try and a load of epoxy to coat them with.

I already cut out some plastic stencils to paint my flutter jigs in sardine, mackreal and crab colors.  Now if the heat drops below 100 degrees,  I will hit the shop and try them out  :smt001

I also read an article on photo finishing lures.  I will definitely have to try that one.

I also stocked up on powder paint for the jig heads.

Stay tuned for some fish killin art work LOL.

Matt

Don't make them too beautiful to fish.  They might end up sitting on a display case :smt003  Please post them up when you're done making them.

Cool!  I love my Iwata brushes, you are gonna have a blast using them.  BTW, best air brush cleaner ever, 1 part Windex, 1 part Simple Green, two parts purified water.  Works killer!   :smt002

Cool. I assume you just run/blow it through the gun?

Would love to see how the results turn out.  I recently got a tube of red Acrylic paint and painted a couple of rockfish jig heads with a brush.  (I think putting epoxy on afterwards would be great.)  However, they look good enough to fool a rockie I bet.  Still it would be cool to have a real pro job with the spray gun.  Wow.  Just dont have the time to do it, personally, but tell me how it turns out.  Maybe I could final coat my jig heads with a kind of spraycan epoxy - any ideas?  Quick and dirty approach.
