Just Another Day In Paradise, 6-27

I gotta run to a meeting, but here are the pics from Saturday. Good to see everybody out there. I think Adam and James are the only ones who landed the "right kind", but James' was just a bit short.  

Saw a couple of PB nets swingin', but overall it was a pretty slow, HOT, day. Good Baja warm-up for Adam and I.

Some random shots to make Jed wish he was there.

This cat took advantage of the warm weather to perform some under hull repairs.

People were jumping out of boats all day and there were some idiots skiing and wakeboarding, too.

To top off the day we were treated to a nice variety of yummy eye candy.

It was an honor to be OTW with Phil for his final NCKA trip. Like an idiot I didn't get a pic to capture the moment.

Great fishing with you, Phil. I'll be waiting for Conger Eel pics.

Now that is what I call FAC...Way to hit it on a gorgeous day.

My first day in Paradise(fish wise) for the last two seasons!!  Thanks for coming to show me how and where to get er'done Bro!!  It measured in at 25", but faught like 26"er.....allTHEwayTOtheBOAT!

I had one on, but it unbottoned after a quick battle in the same area. 17 ft was the magic depth for both hits. I also sized down my hook too(thanks Freddie ) and shortened the weight line a bit also.  I was dripping sweat just sitting out there......too fricken hot!!  I went from hating to LOVING the place in a matter of 30min........my, how a 25"Halibut will change ones OnTheWaterAttitude  

Thanks for the pics Dustin and thanks for the chicken bun Keil!!  I sooooooo needed and loved it.  

OK Adam. Man what a wait but you did it! Congrats are way in order. You and me still have a chance so never ever give up.

Thank you fellow-fellas!!  i was about to throw in the towel on these gosh darned Bay'Butts.....good thing i didn't! Due to lack of me hooking one,  I had come to the determination that this years was gonna be hooked in the ocean, specificly at BeanHollow, on a white scampie, in 80 feet of water.
