Brother, I'm right there with you. Newbie as well, and I must say I'm kinda nervous. Love the balls-out attitude, keep it up...very entertaining. I'm getting my yak this week, or next(I hope it's not next week). I hope I get as much opportunity as you to be OTW to get started out. II guess we are the newest wave of kayak anglers. We must represent ourselves well.  :smt002

Congrat on the double hookups on your maiden trip.  It would be cool if you had a picture to share with us.  BTW, you should post this report in "Fishing Reports" not "Hookups".

I ILKEY FISH, I'm really leaning hard towards the trident 13. I like the way it appears to have plenty of storage, yet plenty of deck layout for pimping. Not quite a couch, but definately a pimp assed loveseat. :smt007

Very True both my buddies andy(baitnbeer) n george(Dr. Fectavious) was all mobbing the Trident 15 just do a lot of demo its makes a huge different in your decision for me i went with the T140 cus of the way im built im 5'8 130lbs plays a factor comfort stability maneuverability put that into consideration n when your demo try to rock it do self rescue try to see if you can really pick up speed tats really wat i was looking for and when i go kayaking i only gone twice i really don't want to bring a lot of gear just the necessity

Rod
Tackle
cooler with water snacks and lunch
net
pliers
paddle this is the stuff i notice i use most i really do try to keep it simple hmm i try to think less is better but every one had different preference good luck to your hunt for kayak n when u do get it lets soak some line
