Bill's shipping and receiving clerk (his wife) is mailing me the NCKA sticker package. I want to adhere them to my P13  before Albion, don't know what kind of adhesive is on them, and I'm thinking I'll have to use a clear epoxy to ensure thay stay on and don't suffer from salt and sea..

Any tips on doing this right?

Thanks,

Rich

Mine has stayed on for 2 years with just the adhesive that came on the back of the decal.  Of course, the kids running my yak into a granite rock during our camping trip last year did a job on the decal, but I don't think anything would have helped there.  :smt002

Just peel and stick it on the yak.  Make sure the yak surface is clean and dry before apply the decal.

Hi Andy,

Was the yak surface where you put the decal clean and dry?  I put them on all 4 kayaks of mine and they're all good.  How long did it stay on before falling off and where did you put it?

My stickers have remained in place well so far.  I made sure to not stick them to "Textured" areas on my hull though.  (OB)

What Troy said. Most of the older OK models have a lot of textured surfaces that stickers will not adhere to too well. Find a smoothe area and clean it with alcohol, dry it, and apply sticker & enjoy!
