Finished a slam bam FF install and got it wet...no pics...8^)

Did a hurry job on my install, used gorilla glue instead of goop...did the necessary hole drilling, did a ghetto holder where I used existing rod holder and took one of those rod holders you push into the ground bent the big spike and used a piece of board and it worked great...

only problem I ran into was not securing the 12v brick which knocked my noodle loose...so I hung it over the side and was seeing actually pretty well...

spent sat eve and all day sunday using it on blue lake for 1 small LMB...used it so much my eyes hurt today when I woke up...lots of menus on the eagle 350 s/map...pretty cool...now I'm ready for the Ocean if it would lay down...

And my answer to the bat...re installed another noodle and cut out a box of closed cell foam to use as a cradle...water tight to a point...

Thanks for all the posts and input on FF/power installs very very helpful...

and the $$$ I saved on "not" buying scotty mounts will go towards a camera...so I can take some pics of it and post it up! It kind of has that gritty home made look that says "I don't care how it looks as long as it catches FISH!!!"
