Chris was definitely a bit sore that he didn't get to go, but he has been on many adventures. 

Hopefully for this is inspirational for guys out there with daughters. Paige has turned into a very competent fishing buddy.  Her favorite souvenir from the trip were some stickers that say "Girls Fish Too" .

BTW-part of going any place for me the first time is learning the ropes.  If I was to do this again (and I will) I will go in mid August of an even year.  August is in the thick of the bountiful coho run, and even years put a zillion pinks on top of that for non stop action.
