Silly Design but I don't see why people are outraged at the price isn't it about the same price as a Hobie Adventure?

its not like a motorized kayak is new anyways, the volt has been out for a while now.  if you are the type of person who wants to use a trolling motor on flatwater, i would think the volt is a better fit, or a canoe with a trolling motor.

the volt's trolling motor is right in front of you and can be pulled out in case you are in very shallow weeds or flats.

native has some imaginative boats - the only problem with them is they are not self bailing so it doesnt really work in the ocean/bay conditions out here.

I agree, I have seen e-yak for a while.  Integrated designs aren't new either, Viking has been doing it for a long time.  In the end, most guys I have seen using these end up paddling home...in a yak with a 100#s of motor and battery on board.  IMHO if you want a PB, get one!
