Met Rock Hopper at parking lot around 9:30am and we both launched around 10am.  Met Mad Dog OTW and he already got 1 keeper about 40 minutes earlier.  Trolled for 3 hours with 2 live Shiners that Rock Hopper gave me OTW (thank you RH, I owed you one) for nada.  Got some actions around 3pm which results in 1 shark and 2 rays.  RH and MD left around 4pm, I sticked around until 6pm but only caught 1 more shark.  Met Desert Eagle at the parking lot, he fished from the pier and caught a nice Hali about an hour earlier.  No Hali for me today but I definitely had a nice day out the OTW.  I shall return...

Good report, Sonny. Nice pics.  :smt004   Sorry you didn't bag another one today.
I was gonna head out there today but after a night of coughing fits, I had to call it off.  :smt012

I forgot to mention that I met 2 nice guys fishing from the inflatable kayaks.  One of them was Tyler and he caught 1 Hali.  Also got my fishing license checked by 2 friendly game wardens.

Jed,  I don't mind catch & release junk fish, it's the experience, friendship, and the joy of being OTW that make me want to fish with you guys all the time (when I can)  :smt003

Sonny, How did you expect to catch a halibut without your good luck charm? :smt002

Allen, I would have call you but I don't have your phone number and also I don't want to wear-out my lucky charm  :smt002

Dale,  Yeah...I think you're right  :smt044  It's a nice day until the wind picked-up in the late afternoon.

Sonny,
Great pictures!  The ones you took Friday were great too.  You have the magic touch with the fish and the camera.

Thanks Martin.  No magic touch here. The key is take lots of pictures and hope some of them turn out good  :smt003

Thanks for the report, Sonny.

I hooked a fairly good sized spiny dogfish that I initially thought was a huge halibut...headshakes and all. other than that it was a day of battling wind.

It was a nice day, but the wind picked up big time around 2:00PM.

Me too, I thought it was a big Hali with all the twisting motions like Hali head shake and a big time bendo!
