Pass on santa Cruz...Maybe Capitola is more promising.  We headed out last week to Santa Cruz  Jd Yak and Myself, and it SUCKED.  Granted I'm not as experienced as some of the other studs on this site, but not a bite, nothing...  Good Luck!

I'm up for sunday. I'd prefer capitola new brighton or the cement ship for target areas.
We could launch either capitola pier or new brighton.
Let me know or call

I will be out there with a buddy of mine on my PB. I'll give you guys a shout on 69. We'll shoot out of the harbor and work out way down to the ship.

Stoggie,

My boat new boat is ready to glide!

Im down for Cap/NB/the ship area any or all of it!

New Brighton sounds good? If were gonna beach launch, the easier of the two. This is my 3rd ride in a yak, and the first ever ride in my own yak, and Ive never done a beach launch. Should be classic. Only thing that sux, is I have no rod leashes yet.

How early can we get into NB? Id like to start early, 5:30am...?

Truck is loaded and ready to go. Id call you but my phone is dead and I left my battery charger at work. Hopefully you check this!

EWB, see you out there.

Sounds like your finally going to get your new yak wet...WTG...u could just use some beaners on a slim rope attach one to reel and one to yak...I've yet to get the cool leash's...but its better than the alternative.... :smt003
It's all about Today!!! Because who knows what tomorrow will bring... so Better get OTW n GetSome

Gates don't open and NB till 8am. Not sure about capitola. I know the harbor is open early and you don't need to sweat the launch

Cool..

We can pretty much get to the cap beach anytime.

The wharf gate opens at 6am I think, maybe a little before, if we take that route.

What ya think Stoggie, I open...

I never use tge wharf launch. I always use the beach launch at the end of the road.
Just park at the end of the wharf, unload and take the yak down to the beach.
Take the vehicle up the hill, park (free on the street above the train tracks) then walk back to the yak.

The launch is about the easiest beach launch around most of the time.

I am up for an early launch, say 6:00 on the water.

As your phone is out, i will check back here for a confirmation.
