Fishing and Ab'ing

I am going to be up on the Mendocino coast this weekend, chasing fish with pole and spear and bagging some abs. I am going to be north of Guallala. If your in the area Friday or Saturday, give me a call.

Sledge, sorry, I did not see your response before I left. I was a few miles north of Anchor Bay.

Could not use the yak due to a 150 ft cliff we had to climb down. So, I walked in from the beach to go after abs and then climb around on the rocks for fishing. Got 3 abs on Sat. and 3 on Sun. Caught a bunch of little rock fish, kept two of the biggest Cabazone and one Greenling.

While driving up on Friday, I could not believe how calm the water was. Figure there must be a bunch of yaks out but did not see any. Saturday and Sunday mornings looked just as calm but the visibility was not good at all. Hardest time I have ever had getting abs in this cove. That being said, I had my limit within 40 minutes each day.

Its all good...thx bro...  That part of the coast looks real sweet!!!  150 ft that's commitment especially packing  chunky abs back up that cliff...

 I ended up in albion sun...sun shinning, calm, no viz...slow bite...caught a lot of fish but it took a lot of hrs...
