Explosion/ Chemical spill

Some genius mixing some chemicals in A warehouse in Salinas with no permit learned the hard way that three certain types of chemicals didn't mix! Miraculously he survived but when all said and done he probably would wish he didn't. The explosion caused significant damage to the building and probably more so to our waterway. The chemicals were washed down the storm drain when the firefighters fought the blaze.The chemicals then made there way into A drainage ditch that runs to the Monterey Bay. Officials dammed up the ditch A few miles down to stop the spreading of the chemicals that are not known from officials whether or not they are hazardous. Cant imagine what the total cost of the cleanup will be.Here are some pics I took today....Andy

Just heard on the news that there was A significant fish kill. I dont know how to post articles but you can read about it in the Salinas Californian.

I wonder if he pour water into acide, instead of the other way around.
