Thanks for the exciting breakdown of that amazing catch! Yesterday must have been feeding time for monster fish because I saw a guy at La Selva beach bring in a 41" striper that had to be at least 35-45 lbs. while he was surf fishing for perch! With a little #2 hook and nickel sized sandcrab! Looking forward to the show tonight

That is a Big Sur prize for sure. (Sur-prize!) 

 So to catch big halibut, don't let them know they are being targeted.
