Ive narrowed my choices down to these two.

I like both, but i really like the prowler center hatch for easy access....

BUT, if i flip will this fill with water fast due to that bug center hatch.. Also is the prolwer stable?

Ill be mainly on ocean. I do want stability..

im 6/2 abround 215, any input on either of these?

You can find answers to most of your questions in the Kayak Manufacturers forum. And if you're only going to be fishing the ocean and are new to the sport, you should read the GSIII thread in the Fishing Reports forum.

I am your same size and love my T-15...best boat I have owned so far.  As far as flooding the hatch is concerned, don't sweat it.  I flipped mine a dozen times on Sunday...teaching self-rescues...and I had a only a cup or so of water in the hull.  The rod pod is THE best feature of the boat.

I also love the Prowler T-13 & T-15,
I am 6'2" at 235lbs and have also had mine smooth side up in the surf many times with no water problems.
My son loves to use it to show off for the girls by standing up and diving off it at the lake.
Very stable, dry ride and you can't beat the rod pod.

Love my trident 15.  Have flipped it over practicing and had very little water in the hull.  Also flooded the cockpit during surf launches and no water issues.  Not sure what is up with the GMSIII situation but I think more of a defect issue than a hatch issue.

I added a latch to the top of the rod pod to really slam down the hatch and it works great.  Love the rod pod access :smt007

my kid has a trident 13 and loves it as well.

If I'm not mistaken the T13 only weighs a few pounds less than the T15. I know my T13 is heavier than my P15.

That was the big bummer about the T15 in my mind.  Not sure why they hvae the adjustable pegs on the 11 and 13but the scallops for the 15

I never test drove the T15 but so many ppl that I respect on this board say that was the one thing they hated about the T15. And my plan was to transport in the bed of my truck...so a foot or two shorter was a nice plus...Oh and Aquan only had the T13 in stock. And Mooch wore a sundress when I picked it up. I couldn't resist!
