Hi

Anyone tried the Future Beach Angler 160 or know anyone who has?
Costco carries them and they come with a car rack. Can't find much on them, in the online reviews. Might be a good starter kayak.

Haven't heard much about 'em but buy.com has them for about $100 less than Costco (at least less than costco's online price, may be cheaper in store?).

I've seen the kayaks they sell at Costco.  They'll work, but if you want a better starter yak, I'd check the NCKA Classifieds or Craigslist for something like a used  Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 or 15 or Cobra Marauder.

You won't lose any money on a good used kayak which you can always resell for the same price, but I can assure that you will lose $$$ if you buy a new Future Beach Angler 160 and later decide to upgrade.
