Kayak Demo Day and Sale - June 6th at Outback Adventures Marin

Outback Adventures is having their Kayak Demo Day and Sale on Saturday June 6th at their store on the waters of the Corte Madera Creek near the Richmond-San Rafael bridge. 

This is absolutely the best way to try and buy a kayak.  Test drive a bunch of kayaks side-by-side and then buy them at a discount.  There will be over 30 different kayaks to try and the event will include the Ocean Kayak rep, instructional clinics, and a bunch of give-aways, and FREE FOOD!

We will have many of the popular fishing kayaks out there, including the all new 2009 Wilderness Systems Tarpon's (120, 140, 160), the Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident 11, 13, and 15, the Malibu Kayaks X-Factor, X-13, Stealth 12, and the Mini-X.  There will be many more sit-on-tops and sit inside kayaks there too.

This is a great event, especially if you're considering buying your first yak. My wife and I went to this event a few years ago before we bought our first yaks, and we learned more after three hours of paddling every single sit on top they had than we had in 6 months of trolling this site and renting a couple yaks here and there. The ability to paddle a Tarpon, then stand up and get right into a Prowler, then get right into a Malibu made direct comparison really simple. I could feel the differences immediately instead of trying to remember what it felt like the last time I rented a boat. This gave me the confidence to spend the money on a boat and know that I got the one that works best for me.
