With all the excitement over the weekend, I just remembered that this month is
actually my first anniversary being part of this awesome and wonderful Forum.
I want to thank you all for helping me along the way as I progress deeper into
this new found hobby of mine. You folks have been so generous beyond words
and I just hope that someday I can repay all the goodness you folks have
given me. Am I making sense at all? I guess it is all the emotion and touch by
you all perhaps. Special thanks to my very own Skipper Phil(northern boy) for
being so kind to take me on my very first ocean trip. To Allan(hightide) for
taking me to Fort Ross where I had my first dump into the drink.
I have met so many great people through hookups and have developed some
good friends along the way. If there is one advice I could give to any of my newbie brothers and sisters here, it would be to not be shy to post questions for
the veterans that have paved the way for us newbs. Also to participate in most
hookups and big get together events like I just had at Shelter Cove. That was
truly an awesome experienced I've ever had.
OK, I need to get off my soap box and get ready for Paradise. I need to catch
some stripers for my AOTY points. :smt044

Thanks again NCKA

Jed

You are a great addition to NCKA and I have enjoyed fishing with you over the last year and it is good to see your success in the AOTY. God bless you on your journey.

Jed Ditto what Scott said, I have notified the Fish Gods that your Rookie year is up so you will have to work for your fish from now on  :smt005

Hey, I remember that trip. Skipper is a very generous term; it was the blind leading the blind! It does seem like a really long time ago now tho. The Newbie Navy graduated on to the Sophomore Sturgeon Slayers!

Congrats on the kayakaversary man. Here's to many more years  :beer2

You're a force to be reckoned with out on the water, Jedmo, and a solid part of the fabric of our community here.  Keep up the great work on and off the water.   :smt001

Thanks to all the kind words my brothers. I appreciate it greatly. I still have a lot
more to learn how to fish from the kayak. Chasing all these different fish for the
AOTY is a great challenge in it's self. Much thanks to all that had help me along
the way.
It was nice meeting you also John(Bird) at Paradise. I had such a wonderful time
there with my family. I hope to see you on the water soon.

Take care all,
Jedmo
