We launched at New Brighton last week and paddled out to the outside reef. Fishing was very slow but we both had a fun day on the water. She got a little concerned when the fog drifted in and we couldn't see land for a while.
But she kept on fishing and finally hooked into a nice little Brown RF. I caught one keeper Brown as well. She made her and hubby taco's that nite and loved em!  Kimo

That was one desperate fish. The tackle is as long as it is. Way to go girl. Your smile will increase with the fish size. I cant wait to see you with the 30inch ling cod.

I can't wait for my little girl to fish with me....I got a bit of a wait. Her 1 yr b-day is next month. She looks like she is having a blast. Catching is only a minor part of the fun!

Being an honorable sportsman is way more important than what you catch.

Beautifully done, on the daughter, and the fish!

Nice fish!  I am working on not being a fair weather fisherwoman.  Good to see others out there in foggy conditions.

Yes, it sure was the prize he won her last year. A lot of kayak for a gal her size but quite the fishing machine. She will probably want to add a rudder asap for better control in the wind. kimo
