After my first taste of fishing the Pacific at GSIII trolling a lake has lost some of its appeal, nevertheless, I will be heading to the Sierras . Bob (from shelter cove), some local kayak buddies and I are heading up the hill for Hell Hole, where we will troll for trout and kokanee.  Hell Hole has boat-in disbursed camping at the back side of the lake.  For those not wishing to boat in, French Meadows ( a 10 min drive from Hell Hole) has established camp sites with facilities.

Are we allowed to give our old hookup threads a shameless bump as the date grows closer? :smt002

Hey Adam, good luck to you guys on Saturday. Hopefully all of you catch your
limits. BTW, have you decided which kayak you will be getting for the ocean
yet? Rock fish season is around the corner for some places dude. We will fish
together again soon I'm sure.

Thanks Jedmo.  Whether we catch our limit or not, it will be a fun weekend.
I have not yet decided which kayak I will get.  I have paddled a tarpon 160, trident 15 (thanks to GreatBass) and a few Malibu kayaks.  So far my favorite is the trident 15.
I am dirt poor, so I will probably end up with whatever brand I can find a screaming deal on.
