Just installed it on my Tarpon 160. It is an ok unit, especially for 79.99. Ive had it out once and does fairly well. Was hoping it would mark my downrigger weight a little better but after 15 feet it disappears off the screen.

Thanks Jeff.  For $80 I don't expect the best but I also don't want to have to spend the $80 twice.

I have the same unit on my Revo.  It seems to work fine.  The only concern I have is the potential for corrosion on the connection when used in salt.  I make it a habit to spray some WD-40 on the cable end and the back of the unit each time it gets used.  I'm hoping this will prolong the life.  The Magellan unit I had before, had a much tighter waterproof, locking connection.  However, it died when short circuited with salt water.  ????????

I have the Eagle Cuda 242 and have had no issues. Been in the salt on multi day trips. Just a quick rinse and a coat of di-elect. grease and she keeps on ticking.
