Michelle, I think you're looking to transport two kayaks. But if only one, I have a Thule Slipstream and 50" (square) cross bars if you're interested, for $150. Only used twice. The base slides so that you can avoid scraping your car when loading/unloading. You would still need to get Thule or Yakima towers to attach to your car.

Nope, no factory rack.  Just the straps, clips, bars, towers, saddles, keylocks, and this extender piece for a 2-door, vs 4-door.  Oh, and I just remembered that I bought a wind ferring too but never used it.  I can take a picture if you like of it on my old car, still mounted.

I know, 650$ was OUTRAGEOUS!  Especially compared to the like 180$ I spent on my Subaru with a factory rack for some saddles.  But it does work well, for the non sporty vehicles I guess there isn't much choice.

Btw, check out orsracksdirect.com if you haven't already.  Some pretty good deals there, vs ANY store that I have been too check out racks.

Cheers!

Do you know if the clips are the same?  I'd be willing to take that off of your hands if you are willing!   :smt007
I'm going to guess the clips are the same, but I'm not 100% sure.  Here is a pic I have handy on this PC so you can get an idea of them.

I understand Mooch trying to stay in touch with his Heritage and he does have experience but do you really want your car to look like this? :smt011
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
