Darn! I'm gonna miss another opportunity to learn from all you masters... for the sake of the all-important WAF. Thanks for offering to educate the needy.

I am SOOO in need of guidance...  Been there at least 15 times and never landed a Butt off the yak yet...

I'll be seeing you guys bright and early for tips, even if I have to bail early.

Could you let me know how to get there? I'm coming from Scotts Valley. Do I need a GPS or fishfinder I have a new combo unit but if it's not needed I'll leave it at home. Yes I'm new to fatty's and really would love some pointers. Thanks Joe

you don't really need a GPS or FF but they are helpful to have.

i am not so sure about this trip yet but will try to make it.

Hi Yakers:

I called Central Bait about Bait. Cenral  has Pile Worms and Ghost Shrimp but, maybe Shiners Tomorow. Too Bad they open at 7:00 Am.

a few things:

try/phone Mikes bait in Oakland for shiners. Dont know what time they open, but a few guys on skiffs said they got their shiners there last Wednesday.

Wildhorse Joe, bring your FF. While quite a few hali are caught "drifting blind" on the flats, the ARW has quite a few holes, nooks and crannies that really hold fish.

Anyone wanting to get tips or pointers from Duane, when he says 6:30 to 7, he really means it, not one second later. Actually, I would aim for 6 to 6:15. Hes NEVER late, but usually early. If you arrive at 7:01 you will see his green Malibu rounding the corner, on its way to puttin the hurt on the halis.
