Looks like you found my hidden stash of fish :smt003 I have been fishing Sonoma creek and the sloughs for many years and the number of fish out there is always amazing.Another month and the creek will be over run with sharks and rays and the sloughs are always good for stripers and a good place to get out of the wind

Epic battle dude! It aint easy to fight a fight like that AND take some pics too, but Im sure your way glad you did. Thats where I caught the 7 foot monster in my avitar, this time of year too, lots of big females are caught there in early spring. Got me thinking...

  What a great story and moster hook up!  I had a couple of dinos roll on the napa river but none that wanted achovies on their pizza.  you reallly get a sense of the stress of that situation, thanks for sharing it!  how is it pulling out up on the mud flat there at low tide at the end of the day?
