With 40 people out there and half following Duane. :smt044 I would still bet on Duane.

That's because he has his bait TRAINED!   :whip2: Among their endurance training they are being taught to swim TOWARD the biggest halibut jaws they can find!    :tongue9: :fish2 They have radio's and chips implanted in them so he can communicate and track them while out on the hunt!  :director:

Really with the small tides this shouldnt be a big factor, 1 to 2 knts at worst but.......
Anyone having a problem clawing against the outgo to get back to the ramp, remember this. Either at the break in the wall(2/3 the way out) or at the end of the wall, just paddle into the harbor (north side of the wall). There should be almost no current on that side, in fact the current should be towards the launch ramp on the outer section of the wall on the outgo.
note... there will be a clockwise rotation  of water at the break in the wall on the outgo. It shouldnt be bad on these small tides.DONT TROLL THROUGH HERE WITH HEAVY GEAR AND DRAGS BUTTONED DOWN!!! there are a lot of snags and you could easily get thrown from your yak or worse............................................
