174.6, down from from 176 last week and 175 the week before.  Started at 194.7.

That's 20.1lbs and getting close to my 26lb target (for a BMI of 25.0).  I think I'll reduce my target BMI to 24.0 once I get there so I have some margin from the 'overweight' threshold.  My spreadsheet says I'll be to 25.0 (169) in 40 more days.

Might need a new wetsuit...

Nice work P-spark.

Left my camera in my PFD, but was 207.5...no change from last week and down from 220.  Getting kinda close to my goal of 200.

Week 17 was one I hope to not repeat for some time. Spent the majority of it in the house as a nasty cold had it's grip on me. Spent sooo much time being idle or in bed that once the cold subsided my back was all stoved up.

week one    205.6
week 16  199.2

I really got step this up..

Congratulations to all for getting healthier.

I myself have taken to the weight loss because after 28 years of volleyball, my joints were hurting being that heavy (255.5 at the start of BLOTY 2009, 271 at the heaviest).  My college playing weight was 185 in 1991 for reference.

H2Ospider has an underwater pic of me at my heaviest.  OOF was I lumpy :fat .  The Scrambler XT was riding low in the water.

Anyway, I weighed in at 235 today.  Sorry no pic (camera is packed still from my trip to C-Lake).

The best parts:

NO joint pain anymore (a little in my ankle but that's been trashed for a long time)
NO acid reflux since 2008

Down 20.5lbs since Jan 15, 2009.  Hooray for me  :groupwave

Thanks for the motivational assist everyone.

You may not have lost any weight but I bet you gained strength/fitness.  I know even when I haven't lost weight, my cycling/cardio have really improved.

Several years ago I lost 20lbs, from 220 to ~200 (220 was my peak after my wife's first pregnancy and not being educated on 'sympathy weight') after losing that weight acid reflux was pretty much eradicated and I only have heartburn problems nowadays when I go nuts with the pepper.  Last time it was from putting a tablespoon of cayenne flakes on a slice of pizza (since I was limiting myself to one slice I doctored it up a lot).  That was asking for trouble...
