Right on, Ariel. Now you are just as much a freshwater fisherman as you are a salty. Congratulations dude.

WTG Ariel... That is a big one. A really big one. I think I may need to sit on one of Hobieblue's bass 101 classes. That's results man...

Thanks for the congrats everyone.

I was so stoked from the moment I saw a couple swirls in the water in front of the tullies. I tossed the senko just a foot shy of the swirls let it sit for a few seconds. I saw my line start moving to the left, line began to tighten and then I set the hook. Fish went ballistic and started to take drag. I had the drag buttoned down on my Shimano Sonora light spinning reel paired with a Shimano Scimitar rod. Basically a $50 Sport Chalet combo. I laced it up with P-Line 10LB flouracarbon line the night before.

Fish fought all the way to the boat. Heart started to race when I saw the head for the first time with its mouth wide open. HUGE....

Please excuse my rookie video. It is my very first I shot from my Stylus or any camera. I will get better at it over time. Eventually reach AbKing quality videos and production.

As you can tell from the video I was very excited so please pardon my foul language.

It was nice to see that hawg swim away.

I will definitely be back there next week. Just to fun to resist.

Congrats on the huge bass. Now that the cross is done at the church, I can finally fish.
