Me and the wife gonna bask in the 80+ temps off Paradise on Saturday. Plan to get there when the gates open (7am). All company welcome.

Might try bait hunting in the East Bay tomorrow night as well.

Just looked at the forecast for this weekend!  Man, should be sweeeet there!  Wish I could go, but looks like a Sunday outing for me...

I'm a maybe. I seperated a rib on Monday, but it's actually feeling a little better today. If I can tolerate the pain I'd love to get out there and get skunked again.  :smt003

WTH does that involve? Actually, maybe I don't wanna know, I'm not very good with pain. I hope all is well by Saturday.

Looks like it's a three-way Halibut face-off between Paradise, ARW and OP. Anyone want to fish Treasure Island or Berkeley to complete the set?

It involves tripping on a stair, twisting your body in an awkward position to catch yourself, hearing and feeling a loud POP, and quite a bit of pain. I'm surprised at how fast I'm starting to feel better, though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Saturday and/or Sunday.  :smt004

I'm interested in fishing paradise Saturday or Sunday.  It would be my first adventure in salt water.  Where is the best place to launch?

That is funny   :smt003

We are doing OP as we are still rooks and it is very close to home.  Hope everyone hooks up regardless of where you go!

We just usually launch at the foot of the Paradise Park Pier.

Don't think I'm gonna make it.

I was pretty optimistic yesterday after getting out of bed at the crack of noon and then sitting in my semi-ergonomically correct computer chair, but after doing a load of laundry late last night I think I can be sensible enough to admit that there's no way I could get my P15 on and/or off of my truck by myself without a decent amount of pain and nausea (rib feels "not right" and is kind of a sickening feeling).

The paddle would be OK, but the loading/unloading of my yak solo is the deal breaker. Figures, too. The conditions/weather look f***ing incredible.  :smt010
